There’s a new baby in our home these days (!!) and I thought it would be a great time to share about the Beautycounter baby and kids lines. Even if you don’t have little ones in your home or life, there may be a product or two that *you’ll* want to try.
First, these products are a great safer, non-toxic options to use on little ones. They are ultra-gentle and formulated for delicate skin.
I know many of us are looking for safer products for our little ones, but we don’t want to make them ourselves. When my daughter was first born I bought ALL the ingredients to make everything… and then a year later I gave it all away on our Buy Nothing group, most everything unopened. I’m thankful there are companies out there like Beautycounter making safer options for us.
But, they also work well for adults with sensitive skin. Because these products are formulated for delicate skin, they don’t contain the more active ingredients that are found in the regular Beautycounter lines.
And, because they don’t contain active ingredients, they are less expensive, making them a good way for those who are on a budget to try safer products.
Let me share the products in each line with you and just how they are so versatile.
The Beautycounter Baby Line
Baby Gentle All Over Wash: A gentle, tear-free two-in-one hair and body wash, safe for the tiniest of humans. Try it as a face wash for sensitive skin or detergent for your delicates.
Baby Daily Protective Balm: An ultra-hydrating barrier balm, designed for both babies and moms. While the ingredients are very clean, it is not intended to be ingested and should not be used as a nipple cream. This is the ‘everything balm’ that I’ve come to love and keep in every bag. Have a cut, blister, bug bite, or scrape? Balm it. Have dry, cracked heels? Balm ’em. Sore noses during cold season? Try the balm. Pimple? Dab on some balm. New tattoo? Yep, the balm even works for that. I think you get where I’m going with this.
Baby Soothing Oil: A dry oil that soothes and softens skins while absorbing easily so there’s no greasy feeling. I use this in winter to oil cleanse my face in the evening for extra moisture. It’s also a great eye makeup remover or body lotion. Try adding a drop or two to mascara once it starts drying out.
Baby Calming Diaper Rash Cream: A non-nano zinc oxide cream that helps prevent and reduce redness. And safe to use on cloth diapers. We love this for diaper rash, but I will admit I have no alternative uses for this one!
The Beautycounter Kids Line
Super-Duper Clean Kids Body Wash: A gentle wash that gets little ones clean while ensuring their skin stays soft and hydrated, with a fresh berry scent from fruit extracts. Add a few pumps to water for non-toxic bubble bath. Use it for double duty as a body wash and shampoo.
Nice Do Kids Shampoo: A mix of broccoli, carrot root, and strawberry extracts in a cleansing formula that leaves hair shiny and soft. pH balanced to be tear-free. Mix drops with water in a spray bottle for a makeup brush cleaner.
Not a Knot Kids Conditioner: An extra-gentle conditioning formula made with super-emollient safflower seed oil plus carrot root extract. Great on adult hair, especially curly. Mix drops with water in a spray bottle for a gentle hair detangler.
You can purchase the Kids Bath Collection at a discount.
